Carmen E. Baldrica, 95, of Singer Island, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2018. Born July 16, 1922, in Negaunee, Michigan, Carmen was the only child of Clara and George Bashaw. Carmen never met a person she didn't like or didn't love. She touched so many people in her lifetime and made them all smile. She loved to laugh, tell a dirty joke, go to the Dollar Store, and was never without a Kleenex or napkin! With her husband, Merv, of 59 years, who predeceased her in April 2006, she traveled the world and seven seas. Carmen is survived by her son, Bob Baldrica, and granddaughter, Brie. She also leaves behind the Petrick, Dal Santo, and Gabrielle families, whom she loved and considered her extended family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Riviera Beach, with Rev. Fr. Peter Truong presiding. Committal services and entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, those who wish, can make a donation to Trustbridge Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407.

I only had the pleasure of Carmen's company a few times, but she was one of the loveliest, most gracious people I ever met. I’m sure she will be missed by many.
