Donald E. "Don" Percy, 88, of Riviera Beach, passed away unexpectedly of a stroke on September 24, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents, Lena and Elmer Percy; his beloved sister, Virginia "Ginny" Preston; and sister-in-law, Pat Percy. Don is survived by his four brothers, Bill Percy, Norman (Peg) Percy of Riviera Beach, Ralph (Betty) Percy of Palm Beach Gardens, Edward (Nancy) Percy of Fulton, NY, and his numerous nieces and nephews who call him "Uncle Don". Don was born in Sterlingville, NY, and graduated from Adams High School in Adams, NY. He served his country as a Seaman Radioman in the United States Navy. Donald moved to the West Palm Beach area where he was employed by United Technologies and later, by Humana Hospital in West Palm Beach. In 1988, Don was recognized as Employee of the Year for his management of the plant operations of the hospital. Don spent his life studying the Bible and interpreting the word of God. His interest in the Bible took him to Florida Bible College where he continued his study of the Bible. Military Services, with burial, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth. Please line up in Lane #3.
