Frank Paradise died peacefully at the West Palm Beach VA Hospital at the age of 89. Born in Everett, MA, the only child of Edward and Katherine (Quirk) Paradise, his accomplishments included graduating magna cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. At RPI he was on the hockey team that won the NCAA championship in 1954.
As an officer in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, Frank earned a master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering and then proceeded to hold executive positions at Pratt and Whitney in Hartford, CT and Colt Industries in NYC.
During his retirement years, Frank split his time between Florida and New England. Gregarious and fun- loving he never met a stranger. Frank is survived by his three children Michele Metz and Scott Paradise of North Carolina and Kimberly King of Hingham, MA. Services will be private.
